After arriving from a tiring yet productive trip in Mindanao, I checked in Bayview Park Hotel in Manila so I could rest before I leave early the following day for an out-of-town board meeting.
In order for me to somehow relax for the night, I wrote this short review about the hotel (yeah, writing has its rejuvenating effect on me).
The Hotel Lobby is quite spacious although there is no lounge area where guests could comfortably seat. Some guests would just seat in the hotel restaurant in front of the information desk.
I headed directly to my room upon check-in. When I opened the door, this site welcomed me:
Their suite is homey yet classy… The bed is so inviting! It seems like it is waving at me saying: “common… sleep…”
Of course, the ever-present work station in the room reminded me that there are still some things that I needed to do before retiring for the night.
I decided to walk around the hotel to check on the other amenities that I could enjoy.
Since I was quite tired for a workout and quite cold to take a plunge in the pool, I decided to head back to my room and enjoy a hot bubble bath… 🙂
Then I checked on some of the documents that I needed to read for the next day. After working for quite sometime, I went to the hotel’s restaurant. It was already late at night so I got something light. I tried their house specialty: ‘broccoli soup’.
