Last year, an opportunity to be sporty opened its door to me. I enjoyed having a healthy lifestyle, joined a swimming competition, and even got featured in Women’s Health Magazine. I think I over-exerted myself while preparing for the competition that I opted to relax my body for a while.
Now, I’m excited as I start my way back into swimming. For now, I needed to bid my fair complexion goodbye and say hello to a sun-tanned skin.
It was a sunny morning when my Swimming Coach asked me to swim few laps to check if I can still do it correctly. Since Coach Joe needed to focus on his team for an upcoming competition, he asked Coach Alma to train me for a while.
I’m just glad that Coach Alma is as friendly as Coach Joe! (Phew!) She enumerated the
many things that we needed to work on. She looked at my movements as I swim and if ever she noticed something wrong, she would correct it immediately.
After the day’s training, I felt good! I’m happy that I am on my way back to being fit (and fab) 🙂 . I know I have a lot of things to improve on and skills to develop but this is already a good start!
