After being sick for the past week, a quick trip to Tagaytay is a much welcomed rest! We passed by the Bag of Beans for breakfast. The branches Bag of Beans is meticulously placed all over Tagaytay but we chose to go to the less-crowded branch near the Rotonda.
There are a lot of seats inside but of course, we chose to seat at the veranda to enjoy the view and cool breeze!
To complete the relaxing ambiance, I ordered their signature hot chocolate.
Then we ordered Omelette and Tinapa! Talk about comfort food!
The Tinapa (smoked fish) is flavourful and goes well with the atsara, sunny side up eggs and garlic rice!
The omelette is packed up with bits of shitake mushroom, bell peppers and a lot of cheese! It goes well with the house-made bread and butter! As for the sausage, I did not eat that.
If you want to take a piece of Bag of Beans home, you could purchase their breads and coffee at the area near the counter.
Hence, if you need to have a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of the Metro, drive to Tagaytay and enjoy the view, the food, and the cool breeze at the Bag of Beans.
