Blissful Blogging (part 1)

When I decided to relaunch my blog, I knew deep within me that I wanted to have a fresh start and to blog with intention. I also knew back then that in order for my intention to be successful, I need to seek help and guidance from the experts. As soon as I was ready to take my blog to the next level, I contacted Martine de Luna  and requested her to be my blog coach. For almost a month, she helped me find my blogging voice and intention. She also has this gift to connect her students to the right people. For instance, by just looking at my instagram posts and talking to me, she suggested that Rhiza Oyos will be the one to do my blog design. Working with Rhiza was a breeze! She wrote about our journey to a new blog design on her blog. You might want to check it especially if you are contemplating of redesigning your blog or creating a new blog.

It has been a wonderful experience to work with Martine and her group of blissmakers. The #makeitblissful community promotes positivity and collaboration instead of competition! I love this community!

It was in the same community where I met Carmel. She was also a student of Martine. We share a number of things in common which includes our desire to share our blog coaching experience with others. That was when the idea of us collaborating for a Blissful Blogging Workshop was born.

We were both neophytes in organizing events such a this. We are grateful that Martine agreed to do her “comeback workshop” with us. Amidst the nervousness that we are feeling as we both step out of our shells, Carmel and I plunge into the uncertainty of doing something new as we put to life one of our blogs intentions which is to build a healthy blogging community.

The workshop was held at the beautiful Tweedle Book Cafe.

They started exchanging blog names, IG names, numbers, etc. Wow! We are thankful to be gifted with wonderful participants!

At the start of the workshop, participants introduced themselves and cited their reasons why they attended the workshop.

As I listened to her, I could not help but be mesmerized how inspiring it is to have her as a blog coach! DSC06553It was my first time to hear Martine speak during a workshop and I must say that she is one of the few speakers who speaks, teaches, and inspires from the heart. She genuinely shares her passion as she guides us to a different realm of blogging which is blogging with intention.

IMG_0435 IMG_0438IMG_0452 IMG_0472After the “lecture” part, the participants were divided into three groups to make a “plan of action” for a specific blog that they will launch. While working on our respective assignments, we were served with delicious snacks and signature beverages courtesy of Tweedle Book Cafe!

We all felt that we were in a fine dining restaurant! What do you think?

Martine  supervised the work of each group. She gave her inputs and suggestions to each project.

After around 30 minutes of working snacks, each representatives presented their group’s blog concept!

And the group who presented an award-winning blog concept got to take home loot bags and products from Tweedle Book Cafe!

Before the end of the workshop, we had a super fun raffle (which I will talk about on a separate post).

See those winning smiles?

Of course let us not forget the photo op after the workshop!IMG_0515IMG_0522 IMG_0526

Each went home with a happy heart, new found friends and a renewed enthusiasm to blog blissfully!

This looks like fun!!! I’ve been scouring the internet for events like this, not just one that is made for fun, but workshops with purpose and can inspire me to make my blog better. I’ve been struggling to recreate, relaunch, and be more active with blogging since the start of this year.

Thank you for this blog post!
