I’ve been quite busy lately because aside from my full time work, I’ve also been working on some collaborations. I started doing collaborations this year and I’m loving it! Aside from having meaningful events/projects, I also gained new friends along the way. Although, I must admit that executing an event is quite tiring – yet very fulfilling!
Now that I have more time to think and reflect on events and opportunities that happened, I could only feel one thing – I AM GRATEFUL.
I am Grateful for my Work
I am grateful that God helped me land on a job that would challenge me to improve myself. I am grateful that I have a reliable boss and wonderful officemates! We have a healthy work environment in the office. We eat our breakfast, lunch, merienda and dinner together. Yes, we are close! We can talk about anything and everything under the sun. But when it is time to work, you can hear a needle drop because we are all focus to finish our tasks.
Another thing that I appreciate about my work is that my boss allows me to participate in other activities outside my required tasks. Those extra work from assisting during the SONA and international conferences to swimming during the mini-olympics!
I am Grateful for Collaborations
I’ve been blogging since 2011 but it was just this year that I started blogging with intention. Then I started doing some collaborations. I’m grateful that I met Carmel! We are instagram turned real life friends! We organized a blogging workshop last June 2015 with the help of our blogging coach who also became a dear friend, Martine De Luna.
After which, Martine surprised us when she asked Carmel and I to become her collaborators for Blissmakerie 2015! Honestly, I was quite intimidated at first but Martine helped me to take that leap of faith. I’m grateful that with the help of Martine, Carmel and Rikka, we had a successful Blissmakerie 2015!
I am Grateful for Quality Time
I am grateful for quality time – may it be quality time with family and loved ones, quality time to enjoy good food, or quality time to be alone. “Life is like a coin, you can spend it in any way you want, but you can only spend it once.” Spending quality time in a more meaningful way makes you enjoy life and reflect on the wholeness of life. At the end of the day, you need to reflect on the things and persons that truly matter.
I am grateful for God’s Love
Life will be meaningless without God. There are times when I stumble but it is comforting to know that God will never leave us nor forsake us. I know that without Him, all these things that I am enjoying right now would not be possible. I am grateful for all the blessings!
How about you? What are the things that you are grateful for? I would love to hear from you! 🙂
