Whenever I pass by the L’Indochine store in SM Aura, I could not resist but stop and enjoy not just the beautiful items inside but also the vibe that the store brings. So when Martine invited me to an afternoon of fun with L’Indochine, how could I say no?
Going to the venue, I was stuck in traffic for more than an hour, but when I entered L’Indochine, oh, I felt so relaxed. Have you ever wondered why L’Indochine stores (both in Aura and Megamall) smell so good?
As I entered the shop, I immediately noticed the beautiful details! Later that afternoon I found out that it was Indy from the School of Styling Philippines who decorated the venue! Wow!
I took the opportunity to roam around the store before the start of the workshop. I could not resist (kahit window shopping lang!)
Before starting the session, each of us were given 2 paper containing beautiful things! Check this out!
The event was sponsored by Gourdo’s (scrapbooking materials), National Bookstore (journals, scissors, assorted pens, adhesives), Stabilo (pens and adult coloring sheets), Hey Kessy (washi tapes).
Martine, the chief Blissmaker, talked about how to do travel-journaling and the benefits of journaling as a whole. I remember keeping a diary way back when I was in high school but I stopped updating it a loooong time ago. This activity helped me rekindle my love for journaling.
It helped that I am around creative people! My seatmates are my fellow blissmakers: Maricel and Ginger.
After doing our respective journal entries, we enjoyed a sumptuous banquet of healthy snacks from Chelsea Kitchen.
My favorites are the mushroom chicharon and risotto balls! Oh delicious!!! Martine’s husband Ton also debuted his new baby, Shophouse Cold Brew Coffee.
Everyone was already happy, smiling, and talking to one another until Charlene Carlos and Leona Panutat announced that we will all receive our own Ikat travel tote bag! We almost jumped out of our seats cheering and excitedly giggling as we received our tote bags! Talk about that #OprahWinfreyMoment!!! 🙂
I’m also glad that I finally met the woman behind the success of Hey Jow – Joana!
That afternoon, Joana also launched Hey Jow’s Holiday collection! Ohhhh… Beautiful!!!
I had a fun and relaxing afternoon! Thanks to these power ladies!
Of course, this day won’t be complete without a group picture!
Thank you Martine and L’Indochine for this fun-filled afternoon! 🙂
